Most often the first step in any maintenance proceedure is the cleaning of the plant or machinery in order to strip and repair or even visually inspect. The efficacy of any degreaser/cleaner has to be balanced with the effects of the detergent on white/yellow metals, painted surfaces, human handling and environmental disposal, flammability and potential ground water contamination.
