The effects of corrosion, particularly bare and untreated metals, are well documented. Due to the salt sea air and high humidity, some of the worst corrosion occurs along the Eastern seaboard of Southern Africa. Mines too are well known for being particualrly hard on plant and machinery given the often acid envirnment that some of the assets are exposed to. Herschell offer an extensive range of wax, accrylic and silicone resisns, zinc as well as oils for protecting plant and machinery as well as electronic circuit boards and electronics that are exposed to corrosive envirnoments. The products can be spray applied, dipped or painted onto surfaces requiring protection whilst in transport, in under-roof or open air storage.
