Rubber and polymer based seals typically require a non-mineral oil based lubricant to ensure proper sealing and longevity. Herschell have a range of silicone, methylphenyl silicone and vegetable oil based lubricants for seals and o-rings both static and dynamic which assist with proper assembly and sealing. These lubricants are typically used on seals in automotive brake and rail brake calipers and cylinders, chassis and suspensions mountings and bushes, double lipped seals on engine and hydraulic components, to seal moisture out of electronic control units and tracks of dynamic o-rings.
